Movie idea... © (so don't steal it!)
OK. I was sitting watching my tekzilla on my iPhone after class just brainstorming. This is what I do when I’m sitting killing time and don’t feel like working or studying.
So here’s my idea (in development stage):
Origin: This was inspired by my brother’s Adidas shoes. He bought these creamsicle colored shoes, but they’re not gaudy at all. These are the type of shoes that make you do the RUN/DMC move to show them off. I mean this is the ultimate shoe move. It involved the shoe wearer to stick out either foot (preferably the left foot) and angle it perpendicular to the way you’re facing (its like an intense pidgin-toe). This all goes down the same-time you bend your knees and lunge forward. You hands hands spread out like your hugging a someone. (Optional) Yell out “BAM!” while doing the move. This move insures the attention of everyone in the room and directs them to the shoes without even talking about the shoes.
Alright, now that we got that out of the way.
Location: Chicago (Chi-town to some) or city equivalently cultured with tall buildings.
Time: The Present
Story: A 20-something finds these awesome shoes. These shoes are nothing ordinary, they are bright, styled perfect, and are the best shoes to ever walk in… its like walking on sheep’s back while flying.
The kid (“kid” is just putting a fresh feel to the man) purchases these shoes and when he sees his friends he does the ultimate shoe move. BAM! The move plus the shoes are a lethal combo. This makes the shoes almost invincible to any negative vibes. He continues to do the ultimate move when seeing his friends and family for weeks (maybe a montage here). He then discovers that his shoes begin to color a 5’ radius around the shoe that is being shown-off. He continues to do this for days and does it more than ever. He then has a special place (maybe a lady friends house of something) to be but runs into his friend and has to do the move. BAM! This will be the last time he does this with that shoe. The shoes colors its surrounding more than ever, and begins to transform into some animal creature. He takes the shoes off and runs! The shoe grows exponentially and turns into a giant creature monster that rampages the city. He goes to save his family and friends and has many close calls trying. He confesses his love to the lady-friend and fun the Metro system with her and his friends. The family gets separated or dies (haven’t decided yet).
This will be shot in dark lighting with a horror/action feel to it.
